Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Is that the same as leaving puppies or teenagers? Has to be done but who knows what you come back to? Joy

I am nosey... what are you looking for at IKEA? Anything in particular?

    Cheers

  • Hiya Helen Blush I'll offload after TLC, which is imminent. xxx

  • Evening Shimmers Wave

Parties involved were DPD delivery driver, Home Bargains for time wasting and OH's phone for an unexpected wedge of cash we waved tara to.

No bandages, just a paracetamol to sort out a rage headache and slightly rasped vocal chords. Recovered 'cept for mobile sting. Wonder if Brian's up for swapping his daily routine?

  • Hello Girls

My Wednesday routine is a night off with some mates and a chill where we put the world to rights.

Just finishing off my evening out - you can’t  get a better pint than this!

    Life is hectic but good!!

  • Part 1

Received a message from DPD to inform Zachary would be delivering OH's meds supplies later on. Great, Zach's been a couple of times before so knows how to find us, rest easy.

I complained to Ray last night I was having trouble with the charger, which was OH's, so swapped it for mine. OH comes down this morning and starts the daily fiddle with his moby - then writes on his board it's not charging. Passes it to me and I find he's rammed charger into port with such force that he's clearly damaged it. Fab!

After I've completed all early tasks I ring for taxi as 3 bags of charity stuff to drop off. 'It's on its way.' Where from - the moon? After a good ten mins wait and my anger rising, taxi turns up and delivers us into town.

I duly instruct OH to go to the bookies, collect his winnings and place bets, then to wait for me on the precinct and sit on one of the benches whilst I do a quick circuit of shops.

    Easy peasy...

  • You've got a hard life Brian Sob

Could you put my world Earth americas to rights or doesn't it go further than a discussion?

Bet you enjoyed the swill hon xxx

  • I am on it love - leave it with me.

That was great and I am off home to bed - after taking Ryder for his last perambulation of the day.

We all need that bit of relaxation.

    Cheers - Brian xx

  • Part 2

We part company and while OH toddles down to bookies I call in phone/computer repair shop, and informed Moby's port is indeed buggered and new parts will take 3 to 5 days. I couldn't let that happen as it's vital for a means of OH's communication, so tell phone guy we'll be back shortly. I call in newsagent's and buy a morning paper, drop bags in RSPCA shop, race across town for bread etc. from market and make my way to precinct where there's no sign of OH, even though at least 15 mins have elapsed since we parted.

I'm sweating profusely at this point...

  • Ooh I can smell that!

    • Cheers
