Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I had 25 RTs, pelvic area. My skin burnt but wasn't sore and I used MooGoo moisturiser which helped a lot.
The nurses were great and the treatment only took 5 minutes. The biggest problem was that the machines are quite sensitive and can break down so sometimes there were delays.
I hope you manage ok with your RT.

Evening folks
Ooh some lucky folks among us are obviously having the time of their lives with foreign travel and dining out etc
My excitement today started by picking up my specs which promptly fell apart. No! I had not sat or trodden on them ... this time.
I went off to club bingo with Scooterless and Stressy, we didn't win, Stressy didn't even get lucky on the fruit machine which is very unusual.
Thanks to the Great North Run, I waited about 3 weeks for the metro back into town but eventually spoke to the lovely man about my fractured specs frame.
It's a 'specs in 30 mins' stall. Unfortunately he didn't have my frames in stock so will ring Middleborough and I will get a call tomorrow. No images, not online, but I think I recall other colours didn't appeal. Have to wait n see.
How is everyone doing?
Cheers
Gill H You are very quiet or I have missed a post. How are you doing?.I know you were very concerned about your sick friend and I understand you may need some time before popping back here.
Gentle hugs
How disappointing! For a brief second I had an image of your sis on an enormous, shiny Harley, chrome glinting in the sun, hair streaming behind in the breeze, baguette, brie and Bollinger firmly strapped down ... ah well, I am sure she is having a fab time and better sleeping arrangements in her motorhome
Cheers
Evening shimmer Gill usually does OH tlc at this time. I am sure she will be back soon. I am still getting over the shock of the price of my t.v. aerial. Hope you get your glasses sorted.xxx
We are all still getting over the shock of the price of your TV aerial!
I hope it's future proof and can handle beaming in 4D screen free avatars or whatever the next big thing is!
Cheers
