Medication and wide awake again

Hi all,

Another night where I long for a normal pre Cancer nights sleep, I have numerous tablets to take each day but I have additional tabs to take only on a Saturday or Sunday, I had hoped they would give me some kind of reprieve but nope! They make me feel rubbish in addition to how I normally feel each day. In addition to this, I have terrible night sweats, going to bed with 3x towels and 2/3 T-shirts to change into, the hospital team tell me these will subside as treatment goes on, I hope they are right!

I don’t expect anyone to give me the solution but wanted to air my frustration, I rarely sleep during the day and can often be awake for hours when others are sleeping, I know going on my iPad will stimulate my brain but it also takes away the strange/weird dreams I encounter along with the cramps I seem to have whilst tossing and turning and not really being asleep….I am drinking lots but with that means more bathroom visits.

Just another effect of having Cancer, I wonder if Amazon will one day sell new and healthy Bone marrows:)

Sweet dreams.

    Hi Fuzzy!

I’m brand new to the Community ( and my diagnosis Grimacing ) but I’ve had insomnia for years…

It does truly and without question suck hard!

Even worse than night sweats (I get them too!)

I hope you got some peace after posting… I expect I’ll see you around again, some early morning Laughing
