Hi, I haven’t posted on here for a long time, but something have started happening and I wondered if anyone else had the same thing.
So I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2019, at aged 38. I had chemo and radiation therapy, during which my periods stopped for the duration. In April 2020 my periods started again but once I started taking tamoxifen they stopped. Since then I have probably had only 3 or 4 periods in the last 3 years.
In mid June this year after almost a year of nothing, I had a period for 10 days, I thought it would just be another once a year thing but I have come on my period again today, I don’t know what to make of this, are my periods becoming regular again, I’m so confused. Has this happened to anyone else?
many thanks
Hi Bamba
I would get this checked out and would contact your CNS if you are still in contact with her. If not, I would see your GP. It may be that it is normal and nothing to worry about but we are not medical. If you would like to speak to someone, the Macmillan helpline is open, this is the link to contact https://www.macmillan.org.uk/about-us/contact-us
Best regards
