Hi ive just finished my chemo with taxel and carbo. One of the side effects is pins and needles in hands and feet. I just wondered whoever had this side effect how long it lastest after treatment was finished.
Hi Flowers22 sorry to hear you're still struggling with this side effect. I had the same chemo treatments as you and they're pretty rough, aren't they. I think what you're describing is not unusual and whilst I have not had this myself, I am noticeably more clumsy than I used to be and drop things fairly frequently. I think this (numbness, pins and needles etc) is all related to a side effect called peripheral neuropathy and I've attached a link to some info here as this might be useful. I think for many people these side effects do ease in time. Best wishes
