I have been receiving herceptin injection in my legs every third week for half a year. Pain in the legs, feet, knees, swelling. After a long walk, the pain is so severe that I can't walk and can't squat. Does anyone else have it. The doctor says it's from chemotherapy. But chemotherapy ended last November. What shall I do. I need to get back to work, but I have to walk a lot at work.
Hi Bc21 sorry to hear about the pains you are having. Have you discussed this with your employer incase there is a way you can go back part time or do another job that allows you to sit. If this isn't an option you may have to wait and see if the pains eventually go away in which case I would contact MacMillan to see if there is any help you can get financial or otherwise. There number is at the end of my post. Wishing you all the best with it all.
