I finished my radio almost 10 days ago, but where I had my lymph nodes removed under my arm pit the radiation has caused burns! They gave me some gel to put on, the skin has been burning for about a week and now it’s better but the skin has peeled away leaving fresh new pink skin!
has anyone else experienced this or have any advice? X
Hi Kasey11 welcome to the forum and sorry to hear how difficult things have been for you.
I also had burns under my breast after Radiotherapy and that pink skin is the area healing believe it or not. If I was you I would go back and try to see The Practice Nurse and ask them to check this area out for you to make sure that is has fully cleared up as they can give you creams and dressings if it needs more time to heal.
