I'm 47 and just been diagnosed with both ductal and lobular cancer in a 10mm lump. I have to decide on which surgery and am at a loss. I asked my doctor and nurse but it's up to me but how to choose. How did you come to a decision.
Thank you in advance xxx
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
Having to make treatment decisions is probably one of the hardest things to do. I didn't have the same type of cancer as you so don't have any experience to share with you I'm afraid. However, I noticed that your post had not had any replies yet. I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post this question in the main breast cancer group as it's a lot busier than this one and I'm sure you'll get replies if you post there. Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there if this is something that you'd like to do.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
