Hello all,
im completely new to the site so bare with me if I do not know the rules.
I am 39 and was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in April, right sided mastectomy, and axillary clearance 5 weeks ago.
I was told on the 27th July that I would need 6 months of chemo and two months of radio. I was given this information over the telephone, due to the current climate.
I was informed it would take 10 days to get an appointment to see the oncologist, however three weeks later I still have not heard anything. I have called and called, but still nothing.
is it usual to have to wait so long?? I just want to get it started, the quicker I start, the quicker it’s finished.
has anyone else experienced a long waiting time?
