hi i was under 50 when i was diagnosed with breast cancer . my doc didnt think i had it and wasnt going to send me to get checked until i insisted i get a check as my mother also had breast cancer a few months before i found my lump . i was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer never in my dreams did i expect to lose a breast and was adimint i didnt want to lose it . however after two operations to remove the cells and cancer they still found cancer cells and gave me option of another try of removing cells or breast removal . if they found the cells on 3rd try i would of lost breast enyway. its been almost two years for me since i had the breast off and llypmh gland removed .im on medication for life .im lucky i didnt have chemo or radiotheropy however if i didnt have the breast off i would of had radiotheropy .alough durham hospital saved my life i must admit i wasnt informed much and the care at hospital wasnt the best . i know i sound ungreateful but this was my experiance .
