Hi

Had my PICC line inserted today and its left me feeling a bit queasy is this normal? Feel slightly light palpitations. I do suffer from anxiety also so I know this may not help. Any advice would be of help

Thanks

Elyse

  • Hi Elyse

I can't answer your question but I noticed that you hadn't had any response to your post yet. It's probably a good idea to also join and post this in the main breast cancer group as it's a much busier group than this one and I'm sure someone there would be able to help.

If you'd like to do that just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then post your question.

You could also give your BCNS a call to talk through how you're feeling with her. If your symptoms get worse in the meantime then don't hesitate to get in touch with NHS 111.

When you have a minute it would be useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

    Hi

Thanks so much to take time to reply to me. I have made a little story of my journey so far and also took advice to join the general breast cancer group.

I hope your well and staying safe

  • Hi

how is your picc line now? I loved mine. It is weird, but so much better than having your veins jabbed.
