Hi all, I'm almost 46 and have 2 children (I'm thinking lots of bugs)... The doctors are deciding this week for me to either have the chemo or mastectomy for my breast g2 cancer. On MRI it was almost 5cm and localized about 3 weeks ago. I've been really undecided on the best option and have wondered if anyone knows of any alternative options. I'm really not keen on mastectomy and was hoping a lumpectomy would be an option. Has anyone had a similar experience? Thank you!
Hi, I'm in the same boat with you. I'M 42 years old , 0 children Grade 2 Breast Cancer 36mm diagnosis about same time with you. Offered same mastectomy but possible breast converving using Licap Flap .I m definitely not keen on chemotherapy. Still undecided about treatment not all the results came. Sorry can't help you to much only understanding yours fears.
Hi Bella
thanks for getting in touch. I am hoping that there is a third option they can offer but doesnt seem likely in my hospital. Wishing you all the best!
