I have not had my surgery appointment yet.. or my appointment to see the doctor again or anaesthetist.
i am feeling really positive.... for now. I think i will land with a bang, and when i have my moments, they are awful.
I don’t even feel ill, should i? will i?
The cancer is an iDC and grade 2.
Hi,
I have just had my surgery and I had never been through an operation in my life before I got breast cancer. I was petrified crying my eyes out but it was actually ok in the end and I am doing ok now. You will feel sore but the pain killers take that away to be honest and you are going to get through this just like I have. My nurses anaesthetist and surgeon are amazing and were really assuring.
Do you know what for me the worst part of my journey had been so far was the biopsy in the beginning when I was first diagnosed as that was sore.
If I can bring any comfort to you then I hope I have helped. Try not to worry as they know what they are doing and trust your surgeon.

Hi ,
My cancer was Lobular, but it was invasive. Apparently ducal is the most common type of BC.
Im pleased you are feeling positive, what was my only option, I just wanted to get on with it, get started on treatment to get me to where I am now.
I didn’t feel ill at all, I didn’t even feel sore after my surgery, not in the breast area anyway, my arm hurt more after my 2nd surgery for node clearance.
Carry on doing what you’re doing.
Take care Tina x x

Hi
fingers crossed you will get your date soon and can then move forward with your treatment. I am starting my radiotherapy at the end of this month and have started taking tamoxifen hormone therapy treatment. I am getting a bit nervous now about radiotherapy. I still don’t know if I need chemo as waiting on a DX Onco DNA test results. It’s a waiting game but you will soon be on the treatment train soon enough. Good luck and keep me posted.
Love Netty xx
