Hi

I had my operation on Friday last week.  I was diagnosed following 2 biopsy with high grade dcis non invasive

My receptors ER=90% PR=78% Ki67=36.7 HER-2 =3+

I have been told I my need further surgery if it's not all been removed and my need sentinel node biopsy if the results come back as invasive . Apparently it does not look like a non invasive cancer due to shape.im back on the 3rd for the results and to also hopefully find out when treatment will start

    Hi

Hope you are recovering well, assume if they mention possible further surgery you had a WLE (lumpectomy) ?

Looks like from the numbers you mention this is oestrogen receptor positive so you will be given hormone therapy to reduce your oestrogen at some time and looks like HER2+ positive, have you been told anything about her2, or is this what the meeting on the 3rd is about.

Very similar diagnosis to my wife way back in May 2012; J is still classed as NED (no evidence of disease) so hang onto that thought.

Know the thought of further treatments post surgery is scary but once you get a date for your treatments to start you will have something to focus on and can get your head around what the heck just happened.

Keep in touch with the ladies in the main breast group as well as they will want to know how you get on Slight smile

Take care and good luck for the 3rd, G n' J
