Hi all,
Is there anyone out there who’s BRAC2 positive and had the risk reducing surgery? Started the referral process today to the breast surgeons. 100% confident it’s the right decision but so nervous. Hoping to reach out to someone in my position.
Thank you,
Hanana
Blimey that's long! I only got my BRCA results in August and referral went quickly. I could have had it before Christmas and the option of a cancellation, but I want to get my holiday and Christmas out of the way (as well as having the opportunity to prepare work stuff for my absence and my phased return to duties). My sister and I only reconnected 2 years ago, 2 months before her dx. The universe works in mysterious ways. Sending you and your sister hugs and strength x
