Endometrial cancer

10 years ago, I survived Grad 1V breast cancer, but today, find myself looking at the possibility of endometrial cancer.

After a scan yesterday revealed my womb lining to be 8mm, I'm looking at further investigations for confirmation (or not), but feel being BRCA1, gives me a higher risk, obviously.

Not so much chat about this one, so would be really grateful for information from anyone who's been diagnosed, what the future may hold for me.

  • Hi . Me again, I've just welcomed you to the womb group and as I mentioned I'm not very knowledgeable about the BRCA1 gene.

Whilst waiting for the members here to come along and chat, it might be an idea to give the Macmillan Support and Information helpline, freephone number shown below, and ask to speak to a nurse - they should be able to offer some info.

    Hugs, B xx
