Feeling alone, lost my husband of 51 years to cancer 3 weeks ago. Thought was coping but this last week getting harder.
No of course everyone is different . My friend likes animals ,but wouldn't have one in the house. She was good enough to let me take mine to stay at her house a few times, but no longer. She cancelled coming to stay at Xmas ,because there are 4 dogs here just now . My two and sons two. It's just that they can be very good company. I can't ever see a time when I won't have dogs.
