Hi all,

My darling husband of 30 years completed 6weeks of radiotherapy and weekly chemo for 5 weeks on the 18th April for tonsil cancer. However on Easter Monday he collapsed at home with a cardiac arrest and passed away. I now know it was caused by a blood clot. To go through all that treatment and now never know if it was successful is unbearable I am broken Broken heart

  • Hi, I'm sorry for your loss and I am afraid we all know how you feel. I am on week 14, I don't cry as much still everyday but not all the time. Sue died after her first chemotherapy treatment . She collapsed the night after they took the pump off. I had hope that it would give us a bit longer.  So if you need somewhere to come and shout or ramble, or just talk. Please feel free to do so. This is your own path so don't do anything you don't  want to. Please take care of yourself.
