Does anyone else interact on other Bereavement sites? I know some have because I recognised their name/story.
I joined Sue Ryder but only posted once as the volume of topics/stories of death by many illnesses and suicide really overwhelmed me. I also joined a facefriend page for widows and widowers and have now muted that page because it made me feel so sad There were some positive and happy posts too but too much to keep up with. I have also tried to not read so many grief quotes. They really helped me in the last 101 weeks as they were so true to the feelings and things I was going through.
I’ve only used this one. Like others sometimes I find it cathartic to share and support but sometimes it’s too much - so for me this one is enough.
No, l have only joined this one, and l find it informative, heart breaking, caring and helpful. There even days when l cannot read some of the messaging as it hurts to much to think that someone else is hurting like l am. But in saying that it helps in the respect of what we are feeling is normal well as normal as can be, well at least that is what l think.
