Just a little to introduce myself, yesterday was the funeral of my husband, he was 55 years old and had been under treatment for the past 16 months, sadly it all became too much and he lost his brave battle on the 14th November.
we have 7 year old twins who so far are amazing, today has been an off day after all the last 2 weeks building up to the funeral, today I felt lost and very sad..like there is no one to watch Out for me, it’s so unfair, I lost my mum at a young age, then my father and now my husband.
Oh Lilybug… my heart feels so very sad for you . I want to give you a hug. You sound like an amazing mum to your twins. I have a 7 year old daughter snd they are so resilient. Although I lost my mum, my daughters Nana and not her dad . I too lost my dad a few years ago too and I really feel for you . I’m sorry I don’t have the words to help you feel better but know I’m thinking about you . Sending love xx
Lilybug - my heart goes out to you. I lost my 47 year old husband to cholangiocarcinoma 4 months ago. Every day is painful, utterly painful.
Your twinnies will find so much comfort with each other. I say this as I'm an identical twin and I've been living with her since my husband went heavenwards (his instructions). Unfortunately we never had children :( we tried though.
Twinnies are strong little units, and they will look after you as you look after them.
I'm thinking of you and sending love & strength xxx
