My closest friend of 28 years has just been told that her Fiance has a terminal diagnosis. They are due to marry next year. I feel completely helpless and cannot seem to find the right thing to say. I have never not been able to talk to my friend but I just don't know where to start. I want to help her and support her, be there through what is going to come but I can't help but cry every time I think about what she is going through. Which I know is not what she needs! Any advice would be appreciated :) x

Cancer experiences - Macmillan Online Community - there are groups for Carers, Emotional support and Express yourself. You and your friend can join as many of these groups as you wish and post as much as you want to whenever you wnat to and there will be people there to support you both.
