Hi all, I’m about to start a second round of self isolation prior to a TURBT on 18 August. One of our cats (we have 2 rescue Birmans) is pretty unwell and needs to go to the vets. This appointment has already been delayed due to my previous self isolation and her condition has deteriorated. Have any of you had experience of managing this? What did you do?
Hi,I’m so sorry to hear your cat is unwell. My partner John has been shielding though not due to cancer. He was apprehensive when he had to rush his cat to the vet.On the first visit he stayed outside and rang a bell, gave his details and the vet came out and collected the cat.John went back a few days later and was allowed inside as sadly his cat had to be put to sleep. They had strict hygiene measures in place and John wore a mask throughout.I hope this helps, love and best wishes Jane xx
I hope it all goes well and my best wishes for your Turbt procedure.x
