I am 82 and female & 5 weeks post op after having an anal tumour removed & perm stoma.
Stoma working great, my wounds are healing good. I still can't sit down! can hardly walk, hurts too much
I still cannot sit or hardly walk 5 weeks post anal tumour removal surgery. Perm stoma fitted, which is fine.
Any advice on how long recovery takes ,age 82
I started my journey 18 months ago. Started with S4 bowel with liver metastases. 2 liver resections, bowel resection with permanent stoma. Was all well at end march 2020. Told this week that I now have secondary brain, devastated.
