Well..... When I joined,I thought how nice to join a site where we all have something in common,despite the horridness of it,I thought at last a site with no nastiness. Well... I wrote a cheery tongue in cheek story and some poetry,which lots pm'd me or commented how it cheered them taking their minds off cancer. BUT.... in the chat room I was castigated by 2 women,in open chat,who complained that it wasnt what blogs were for. I didnt agree,but removed anyway... I tried to enjoy the chat but it wasnt to be.. I was asked by several for more poetry,at the time I wasn't in the mood,in fact was getting quite despondent with the site,yesterday and today,feeling quite emotional,my writing surfaced,and I posted 8 poems,with a comment by Thomas admin,that hes developing a poetry corner. I now received a pm from Babscatt,that I am posting too much poetry,and she thinks I'm overdoing the blog..... So I have removed my work,and will just carry on,writing for myself. Hi Paul,

Just to say your poems are wonderful, but I dont understand why youve taken them off, people dont have to read them if they dont want to.

The site is here for everybody to use, and this should be the case.

Hope you reconsider.

I like your poems and want to read them - perhaps you could have one of your blogs for your poems and add new ones to them as and when they are ready to be 'published' - just an idea. Please dont take offence at what has been said. One of the big problems with a website is that we cannot 'hear' peoples tones of voice in their writing - either in blogs and responses and especially in the chatroom - and it can be easy to misenterperate what someone is saying and HOW they are saying it. I dont think Barbaracatt would be deliberatley rude (having met her) I am sure it has been a misunderstanding. Poetry is a brilliant release and way for us to 'sort our thoughts out' and I definately think that you have talent so PLeeeeaaassse dont stop. Look at how many people add comments and enjoy reading them! All the best Yorkie, Love Jools x x

Please paul dont leave , you have so much to give by writing your poetry. It is not many people that can express themselves by writing poetry...and also i looked forward to talking to you in the chat room...bless

Paul,

We are all entitled to our own opinions, we didnt ask you to remove the bloggs you chose to do that. As you pointed out I did write to you and tell you to do what you wanted and tried to build bridges but you didnt reply and chose to ignore me blatently in the chat rooms, not very grown up!!!!! Seems to me, you are far too touchy and oversensitive, myself and the other girls that you have named and supposedly shamed are really nice people and no way bullies!!!!!!!

Paul, Don't let people force you to give up your blog or to write your poems. It seems that many people want to read your musings and get comfort from them. Those that do not wish to read them should simply do just that ie not read them and certainly not harangue you ( think there's a spelling error there).
