a first post to blog, hopefully

Less than one minute read time.

I have incurable cancer. I also have had long covid for two and half years which has been a real robber.
I would be interested in anyone else's experience of both, if you would like.
I am thinking this blog could be a useful outlet for me.
The long covid has had significant cognitive effects for me which took away my ability process and to communicate in writing and in text . The effort it took could be exhausting
Chemo steroids has kind of unblocked the writing block, how long that lasts no one knows. It does though give me bouts of the blah blah blahs... These are predominantly good blah, blah, blahs, so be assured that mostly I am having a whale of time rather than going down rabbit holes.
I didn't expect to be writing this for instance. I just dropped by for a little read. Triggered by some trepidation about it being the first time in my household someone is actively ill. That's another story though.

Finally I am new, this is my first post. I am not familiar with the site or the etiquette yet.
