Herceptin for oesophagus cancer

I read an article in the mail today about a man who has been given the drug herceptin( usually prescribed for breast cancer ) to help him live longer after being told his cancer is terminal.Has anybody heard of anybody else trying this drug or any health authorities trialing it.

Hi Marianne,

Sorry I too suffer from oesophagus Cancer amongst other things . But have never heard of Herceptin

being used. But thats only in my case.

Our Professor has recently wrote an article about his clinical trials and Herceptin was mentioned, i have emailed him and requested it. So will keep you posted on what he says
