we were told yesturday that we will have less than a year with lil man if we are lucky.

NOW i know what the doctors say is only a guess but it just brings it real. They told us this news yesturday. Because they have had 4 child roughly the same age as lil man with the same type of tumor pass away within a year of the doctors finding the tumors.

I am finding it very hard to stay positive at the moment.

I know they dont always get it right. Once they found out my mum had secondery cancer of the spine they gave her less than 6months but she lived 6 years to the day.

With the good news from last week i thought JUST MAYBE we will be able to fight it.

Im not giving up HOPE but its very hard to stay positive.

You must all be reeling right now. Yes the doctors gave you a statistic and your lil man is NOT a statistic, he is an individual.

I have a brain tumour myself - 6 monthly checkup MRI next week and having a bit of a wobble, nothing compared to your situation. I was given 2.5 to 3 years in Feb 09 and I plan to show them how wrong they are. I am realistic about my situation, but also bloomin stubborn and determined.

I hope you can at least find some friends on here who will support you through whatever life throws at you in the following years.

Hi Sunflower,

11 yrs ago I was told the most time I had left was 3 yrs. I can assure you this is not a ghost writing this message. Yes Im Still here and like Debs intend to be around for a long time yet, yes they do get it wrong sometimes. Lets all hope the same goes for

your lil man. All the best.

please stay as positive as you can..little miracles happen all the time. dont dwell on time limits, look past them, live all your lives as normally as possible, all the best for lil man and yourselves. take care xxxx

i have been thru the worst year ever ,but im still positive and have hope , and i will be sending you some of my positive vibes,i truly believe they can help, and lets hope you have lots more time left with your lil man , and i do not need to tell you ,but treasure every min and every smile
