I can't believe another week has gone by.
in rereading last weeks post so much has been answered or resolved.
My husband now has an appointment with the oncologist next week. It had been scheduled for the following week but was brought forward as they have been able to open a new clinic session. Is this result of the new Streeting initiatives I wonder? The only problem is that given we had no idea when we packed to move that his cancer had returned all his notes from the French hospital and means to access his scan images are somewhere in a storage unit in Kent. Much of the coming weekend will be spent attempting to locate the box which we told the removers confidently could go to the back the unit♀️
However the good news is that we should be able to get an interest only mortgage to suit our needs.
Meantime we are really struggling with the dilemma of planning for the future with what feels like a sword of Damocles hanging over us. My husband has chosen the approach that he will not worry until he absolutely knows he has to. I get that but find it much more difficult especially as it seems to put a barrier between us. We are normally very close and it seems hard that when we should be closest we end up arguing over whether or not to talk about the elephant in the room.
Heyho- on we go to another momentous week- house hunting and oncology appts await.
and maybe a light aircraft flight tomorrow piloted by my son - to give us another perspective on life
