S. received a letter which was a copy of the one her hospital consultant / surgeon was sending to her GP. Her Ca125 reading was 410 ........her Ca19-9 reading was 12 ...........her cea reading was 2.3.........she is to have a midline laparotomy..debulking surgery......TAH BSO.......omentectomy ...........peritonecal resection......+/- lymph ......+/- appendix.......Grade 3 serous ( serious ? ) ............adenocarcinoma of the ovary......radiological stage 1-3. ALSO ........Jack the Ripper ( the first Macmillan nurse we came across , is on the mailing list re. any paperwork the consultant / surgeon sends . AM FECKING NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS .
