Sunday 5/6.
I arrived to find S in pain after the medical staff missed her vein last night and pumped meds straight into her arm , which ended up several times the size it should be . So ..........another fecking drain was to come because of this at a later date. The green gunk drain was removed so S could have a shower and wash her hair , assisted by me. During the day we were informed that S was to be moved to a specialist cancer ward on another floor , either today or tomorrow . More temperature readings , more blood for testing , more blood pressure readings and more antibiotics. During the evening S was moved from this general ward to a holding bay further down the ward corridor . I stayed overnight again sleeping in a chair , ready for her move in the morning .
