Friday 3/6.
Another shitty night for both of us . Out friend arrived today and after doing my comedy routine and trying to make them laugh as inside I was drowning in tears , I went and found a consultant that had seen S. . I told him what had happened the day before and that I was not happy how S. was treated after the shock cancer news . She was then transfered to the ward proper and we had a visit from an oncology nurse . ( An oncology nurse is a nursing professional who specializes in caring for people with cancer. Oncology nurses often serve as your first line of communication, and help coordinate the many aspects of your care throughout cancer treatment.) So , after talking a good fight and saying that she was pushing to get S. onto her ward downstairs , she gave us her business card with contact details . Pity she wasn't sent in 24 hours before..............instead of leaving us to fend for ourselves .
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
