So.....S has no appetite today ... she didn't have yesterday either . She feels sick ,She is dry vomiting , has a tummy paiin and is sleeping all the time and has the shakes ...........all symptoms of when this fecking nightmare started. At her pre op assessment , two days ago , she had an MRSA test taken , height and weight measurements taken and a blood sample . I wish the Mac nurse had said something to S when she mentioned the constipation even though S has tablets for this . She wasn't asked what she was eating to counter the constipation. She doesn't want me to contact the hospital................and , as I was reminded before , " It's her body " . So , it's business as usual ..............I fetch , I carry , I keep her amused , I cut her toenails , wash her feet and shave her legs , I've bought her a plastic , high backed chair with arm rests, to place in the bathroom and if she feels faint getting out of the shower , she can sit down straight away or even just sit there with a towel under her to just air dry and get her breath back , Also , she can sit in the chair and wash herself at the sink . It's practical stuff i have a control over............................certainly not over the cancer.
