I wish to share with you the continuation of my breast cancer journey with my focus on harmful chemicals.
I will be commencing my radiotherapy in just over a weeks time. Having already been advised to use perfume free products during this treatment I am looking at my options. Aqueous cream which is highly reccomended contains sodium lauryl sulphate which can cause skin reaction. In continuing my research I have found that Green People offer on line a perfume & chemical free shower gel. So I have ordered some and plan to take to my 1sr radiotherapy appt to discuss. Hair products remain a concern. For now I have switched back to Aveeda, which I have used for over 20 years. This contains less harmful chemicals to my usual shampoo, but I will continue my search to find the least harmful products.
