Back to normal and lacrimal duct.

1 minute read time.

It's such a luxury being able to do everything again:

  • washing my hair in the shower instead of going to the hair dresser
  • being out in the rain without worrying about getting my eye wet
  • doing masses of gardening - so much to catch up on.

Wonderful and for the moment, I'm taking the normality of life much less for granted.

My watery eye worse first thing in morning. Hasn't been evident for much of time.

Having just looked up eye anatomy: my lacrimal gland above my upper eyelid is a bit swollen as well as my upper lacrimal canal and lacrimal sac at the top. I was already told my lacrimal duct is out of line and that's why my eye is a bit watery. I wonder if it matters that these other bits of my lacrimal system are a bit swollen? They don't hurt and there's no pus. They weren't swollen when I saw my specialist nurse last week, although I now realised that that's what was red and swollen the day before I saw her. I thought it was simply allergy as after I took an antihistamine it calmed down and went back to normal. I think my sun glasses may press on my lacrimal duct/ sac and cause this? I trust it won't cause a problem when I fly. I think I'll ring a Macmillan Nurse for reassurance tomorrow - good ol' Macmillan :)
