A rotten day so far. I woke up at quarter to four. I'm in pain, not the op thank goodness, but painful. The operation uses a piece of intestine to make the conduit for the urine from kidney straight to stoma and into the bag. Your innards then go into a sort of sulk. They are bruised and become sluggish, not wanting to work. The first ten days were constipated, then I had a few days of the runs and now I am back to sluggish. Unfortunately this has caused haemmorroids, hence the pain. On the upside, I can now introduce more roughage to my diet - wasn't allowed much roughage after the op. I've really missed my Nutriblasts so I'm happy about that. I have mild laxatives as well now so I'm hoping things will begin to move. Moan over, better out than in, eh?
