Hi guys. I haven't been in for a bit. I've been trying to get a date for my op. The operations coordinator told me last week that I would be having the operation mid October. That's too long! My cancer is particularly aggressive. Besides, I've had the pre-op already and I've been given the tablets I have to take the night and morning before I go in, to prevent acid reflux during the op. I also have three appointments tomorrow; one with the anaesthetist for the bike test and the other two are with the stoma nurse. It seemed to me that those appointments were made with the expectation of imminent surgery. I asked her to check. She rang back yesterday and told me I am pencilled in for the 22nd of this month, a week on Friday. Now that's more like it. I'm both relieved and shocked at the sudden immediacy of it. I hope this date is confirmed. I just want to get it done. Otherwise I'm fine. I love the Nutribullet. Who would think it would taste so gorgeous. Mmmm.
