We had an appointment for a seminar on how to get Arts Council grants. Neither of us felt like going, what with my pre-op tomorrow, so we decided to take a rain check on that; who knows what the future holds? At this moment we just want to spend all our time with each other and Stiggy. Just as well. We are expecting two items in the post, Special Delivery, and neither has arrived. We have a tracking number for one thing but the Royal Mail tracking site doesn't recognise the number. Rather perplexing, two things from two different places going awol... We are waiting to see if they come in the ordinary post, but really! We already waited all morning. I guess I could look on it as an exercise in patience.
Looking at the beautiful sunset I wonder how many more I will see. If my cancer is malignant, I thought, I should make the most of all of them. Then I realised that one should make the best of all experiences, good or bad, because they are what life consists of and one never knows when life will be cut short.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
