I have had my first cystoscopy check this afternoon at 3 months after my operation. I am very pleased to say that all is well. You can see the scar from the operation but it looks healthy and there are no signs of further lesions. Indeed the surgeon who did the operation and also this first check has said I do not need any more checks for 9 months. Yippee!!
There were quite a few people undergoing cystoscopy this afternoon, some for the first time, some old hands. One chap has been fine for 20 years but has now had a recurrence. Still 20 years is not at all bad.
