So after a fairly decent night we had a lie in and woke about 6am. Except clocks have gone forward and it was only 5. Growl.
Porridge with gold top milk for brekkie before the dreaded capec pills. He really hates them. The days after Oxaliplatin are the worst. He managed to control the nausea without the extra anti sick pill. Bonus. Eating difficult.
Shower and day clothes accomplished!
Thing is after 15 mins of sitting on sofa he got teary (not for the first time). He didn't remember getting showered or dressed. Memory did come back but will be checking with nurses after weekend. Says it felt like he'd drunk one over the eight. Will have to see what the impact will be after treatment on a regular 2 day weekend. Leave is limited though we both have decent bosses but will need to save some for after op. No stress.
Snow flurries today. Pretty. Found bird seed at the back of the coal bunker. Time to put in an order I guess. And a new game of spot the mouse.
Onwards and upwards. Sleep well folks.
