    Just thought I would do a quick update of how things are going. Daily radiotherapy not going to bad, the staff are all lovely and friendly, its also nice ( if thats what you can say) to see everyone each day and say how your geting on and having a laugh.     Completed the 'race for life' in Sunderland yesterday with my 84 yr old mum and 15 family and friends, we all dressed up in pink tutus, fluffy ears with 'support breast cancer logos on etc. (what a sight) but what a great day we had, we only walked the race as my mum was in a wheelchair so it took us 1 hr 15 mins but got there in the end.     Had hopital apt, monday to be fitted with my prosthesis, (my new booby as my grandson calls it), didn't expect it to be as heavy, breast nurse said I will get used to it, bit like a new pair of shoes, when you first get them, you cant wait to take them off after a while.
