Throat hurting

Only 2 more sessions to go so it will be good to say done, I was offered my mask to take home on Wednesday but I won't accept, the last thing I want hanging around is that! I will be glad to see the back of it. My throat is now hurting when I swallow but at the moment I am still able to eat I am taking paracetamol also ice-cream and honey are helping.

Have you had an operation for cancer? I had cancer on my vocal cords and had them removed, I found homemade soup was good, with single cream added, which makes it smoother and easier to swallow. Hope this helps and just to let you know, I am just over 17 years since my operation, and feeling great, hope this gives you encouragement.

Forgot to mention. I can still talk, but through my neck, and can't breathe through my mouth and nose, but no problem.

Thanks for the info I didn't have an operation I had 15 sessions of radiotherapy I was supposed to be having the outcome on the 18th of February, but it has been changed to the 25th of February, as it happens that's my 73rd birthday so that's the present I really want.CLEAR

Hi there can I ask what we’re your symptoms please. My friend has been having coughing fits bringing blood up and was in hospital a few days but they haven’t done tests?
