The consultant is hoping he has removed enough tissue for it to be analysed, he used a local anaesthetic so the tube through my nose down to my voice box (not nice). Just in case it doesn't work out he has pencilled me in for the 30th of November for a general anaesthetic so crossing my fingers I won't have to have it, he will have the result by the 25th he and I are expecting it to be cancer if that is the case he was very reassuring because it has been detected so early there is a very good chance it can be sorted out.
