It's been a while but here we go with an update; As part of the clinical trial I have had the Radiotherapy, 20 shots to be precise, the last of which I am currently awaiting in the waiting area ... where social distancing just doesn't happen despite most of the punters being ' vulnerable people'. In addition to the daily attendances over the last 4 plus weeks (Easter and bank holidays got in the way) I have also had another CT Scan and a Bone Scan too. A busy time, including a couple of clinics and a blood sampling. Progress? Of course, except for one thing; I've had to increase my analgesia because of the constant aching in my bones, ( Chest, ribs and shoulders) and i was hoping to have an update about these metastases' from my consultant armed with the scan results. That appointment was supposed to be this afternoon ... but has been postponed for at least a week because the consultant has Covid. You couldn't make it up, could you?
To add to the mental anguish of waiting, the latest bloods show my PSA back in the red at 10., the 4th and largest rise in a row.
