Have you heard the latest? It’s not out yet.
But until it is, here are two things learnt since the last post:
First, the blood test taken on the 12th of November subsequently showed my PSA level has fallen from 39 to just 0.8! That means the therapy I’m undergoing is working and has certainly knocked back the aggression my cancer was exhibiting.
Second, the clinical trial is beginning to take shape: I have been allocated to the ‘radical treatment’ arm, so will have a MRI scan during January, and subject to the findings from that I might be suitable for either surgery or radiotherapy. There will be guidance provided to permit me to choose which is most suitable for me, some of the side effects are preferable to others.
As an aside, today I have been around the Sun a total of seventy times, my New Testament time allotment has therefore been used up, I wonder how many more times will I manage?
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
