Biopsy is over!

Less than one minute read time.
Well hello to you all. Thank you all for the many words of encouragement. I NEEDED them! The biopsy proceedure went better than I had anticipated. The onterage of medical staff was abuzz ,however the doctor was awol for about 45 minutes and my nerves began to escelate, but I held it together. They knocked me out and I dont remember a thing. I think my rear end is begining to remember the biopsy party ..lol I think I am going to go lay down soon and give it a rest...We will know all the results next wednesday. I will have my fingers crossed and my prayers sent to heaven. Huggs to you all Chickieee

    Hi Chickeee

Well done on getting through your biopsy. I hope all goes well for you. I am off to have a 2nd mammogram on Monday along with ultrasound and possible biopsy. I have had a bone marrow biopsy in the past, fortunately I didn't feel a thing, no soreness afterwards at all.

    Please keep us informed.

    Take care

Hello :) Sorry for the late reply but I haven't been feeling that great the past week or so. My heart went out to you when I read your comment on my blog, because I was where you are not that long ago and I know how it feels. Do you have the results of your bone marrow biopsy yet? I really hope for a positive outcome for you, but if it turns out you do have myeloma please remember that there are people like myself and others on here who can offer you support. I know exactly what you mean about knowing your body and knowing when something's not right. That's how I felt but I think there were a lot of people, doctors included, who started to think I was just being a hypochondriac or something. Please let me know your results and how you're feeling and, although I'm new to this myself, don't hesitate to ask if there's anything you'd like to know.

    Take care

Well hello to all, thank you for your blogs back to me. I went to get the Bone M Biopsy results Wednesday and to my disappointment they were not in yet. The doctor said it might take 3-4 additional days to get back, He said he would call me once he received the results.. I awaited his call. It was two days and his office finally called and left a message on my cell phone indicating another test was ordered by the doctor. GRRRRRRRRR, I wanted results now I have to wait on  another test. I am really getting anxiety over this, but I am trying to keep my nerves together.

I will write more as I get the info. I appreciate you all very much. There is so much support on this site.It is a blessing to be able to talk to others who have gone through some of the same issues.

    Huggs

    Hi Chickieee

Hope all is well with you. I know how frustrating it can be waiting on results. I am still waiting for my CT results. I have it done over 2 weeks ago, so call Dr's office on Friday and they are still not back. That's probably the reason for no Oncology appointment yet., but life goes on and we will deal with what comes with full force and encouragement from all of our family and our friends on What Now.

    Keep smiling :o) Chickieee

Hugs from New Zealand (p.s. it's bloody hot here, today 30 degrees)

    Jacqui
