I seem to be getting off pretty easy.
I've had my pokemon removed and I have a bit of pain where they did the skin graft, but it's not too bad. I've already got most of the use of my hand back and it's getting better all the time - I'm pretty sure I'll be able to use cutlery or a pen again soon and maybe get back to doing most of my crafts in a month or two.
I've just had confirmation that I'm being referred for radiotherapy at Addenbrooks. Radiotherapy doesn't sound too scary and at least I won't have to travel to London for it, just Cambridge which is much closer.
There will of course be check ups in abundance afterwards, but if I'm lucky that could be the end of it. Can it really be that simple?
