Just got back from a lovely holiday in Interlaken, Switzerland. Stunning scenery! Did lots of walking and pleased that my energy levels are still good. In Switzerland you take the train to the top of the mountain and walk down whilst enjoying the view.
Took the onc's advice and looked into releasing the equity from an AVC I'd been paying into for years. The pension company, bless 'em, put me in touch with a company called 425 Direct who were able to get quotes from companies specialising in those with a shortened life expectancy. They got me a return that is over twice what my own pension provider could offer. So with the lump sum we'll go some places I've always wanted to see and the monthly pension will allow me to cut down my days at work. I know the tax man will get his cut but that's inevitable.
Latest PSA was 4.4 so still dropping. My new mantra is on the T Shirt in the photo.
