Why do doctors and nurses treat us like fools

My Mothers doctors and some nurses speak to us like we are fools and tell us lies about her treatment what the outcome maybe and how she is being cared for I have had to remind them to speak to me like an adult im 50 not 15 has anyone had this type of treatment from the hospital?

Hi Poppylssy,

If you let them treat you like fools thats exactly what they will do. Stand up to them tell them your are not leaving until they tell to you what treatment and what outcome they expect for your Mum.

That much you both deserve.

Make an apointment to see your mums consultant, if your mum gives her permision the consultant will have to answer your quistions. I have been reading all your blogs and this must be a very scarey time for you all. Your mum has been very brave , and from one of your blogs you seem worried about dementure, i dont think thats the case with your mum, it could be her medication thats makeing her confused.

I do hope you get some answers soon.
