The Best things about Cancer pt 2

1 minute read time.
Well part 2 has got to be about friends. Friends that you had no idea cared so much about you. From the day I was diagnosed October 2010 . I found out who my friends are. Some of them I thought were just friendly work colleagues. How wrong can a person be . There are four girls from work who are constantly in touch Phone ,Text ,e- mail ,and best of all being taken out for lovely meals ,and whenever I need Hospital and home visits.i have never felt alone knowing I have their friendship. They always listen to my concerns , never look bored ha ha , and encourage me in every way they can. I have other friends that I have had for years and years that are exactly the same . And I am afraid some that just don't know what to say to me and feel awkward when I am around . But you can't let that bother you if they had cancer how would I manage to cope with that fact I'm sure I would probably be the same ( awkward and frightened of saying the wrong thing). But no one can say the wrong thing to me . I just laugh it off and take things as a joke, it's not worth getting uptight, it takes far too much energy that can be focused elsewhere. So all I can say is here's to friends and true friendship , without them life would be so much more difficult . With them what a doddle . (They say cancer affects 1 in 3 so by law of averages you are always guaranteed at least 2 friends who will befriend you so they can't get it ) nah that's just a joke but watching Jeremy Kyle you could see the possibilities ha ha .
