... and actually I am riding the tide better than I thought this evening. It has helped that I have had loads of work to do since I got back from the hospital, and now I just feel shattered, so hopefully I will sleep! Meanwhile, back on the Urology ward my poor A is visiting the toilet for the hundredth time this evening following his rather alarming phosphorous enema earlier tonight. If there was an Olympic poohing team…

I have spent the last few days in a state of euphoria, tipsyness and with the odd tiny moment of impending doom. It's been an intoxicating mix. Thing is, we have had such a lovely time in the last few weeks - seeing lots of friends and family, going out and doing fun things and chillin' at home that The Big Op has got hazier and more unreal. We've sat and looked at the drawings…

I braced myself this morning after being informed yesterday that I absolutely had to go to a client meeting in the City today. I got up early this morning, got showered, dressed, did hair and added a goodly layer of make-up to hide deathly pale countenance. I didn't look so bad. Spent another twenty minutes at home making sure every possible ounce of extraneous material was wrung from my body toilet wise and then drove…
